About 'zumba workouts'|Zumba Fitness: Latin Workout Routine
Zumba Fitness is a hot new craze that is supposed to be more fun than a workout. This workout craze focuses on an aerobic exercise that is set to Latin style music. It is a one hour workout that is designed to burn calories wile you have a blast. In the 1990's fitness trainer "Beto" Perez discovered fitness centered on Latin music in Columbia, South America. One day he forgot his regular music for his fitness class and had to improvise with whatever music he had in his car at the time. Zumba was born and soon became the most popular fitness class at his health club. Zumba fitness uses interval training, resistance training, fat burning, and total body toning. The muscles that Zumba Fitness targets are legs, arms, abs, glutes, and your heart. The Zumba program was not brought to the United States until 1999 but has steadily increased in popularity since then with an infomercial, partnership with Kelloggs', as well as many Zumba instructors throughout the country. There are at least 10 benefits of participating in the Zumba Fitness program. 1. Great Fat Burning A Zumba workout is a great way to burn fat. Each person will have different calorie burning results, but it is estimated that a person can burn up to 1,000 during one Zumba workout. 2. It's Fun Zumba Fitness is a new way to burn those calories and not feel like you are actually working out. It is fun and not your regular workout, so before you know it the hour will fly by. 3. More self confidence The better you feel about your body, the more self confidence you will have. This can flow over into other areas of your life leaving you feeling more confident in other areas of your life. 4. Core workout Zumba Fitness targets the abs and the back during the workout. This in turn creates a stronger core and increases your agility. 5. Intensity Level You can adjust the level of your intensity to make the workout fit your particular needs. This is great if you feel like you are doing too little or too much. 6. Variety Zumba Fitness has a variety of classes available. Easy to follow steps The steps are easy to follow so you won't be tripping over your own feet like you can with other workouts. 8. No previous dance experience There is no need to have previous dance experience to be able to catch on to the moves that are done during Zumba Fitness. 9. Less stress When you have a workout routine that works you work out more. The more you work out, the less stress you feel because as you workout your body releases endorphins that help your overall stress levels. 10.
